What Makes Me Unique

Hi, I’m Victor Hukill owner and operator of Tier1 Home Improvements in Gainesville, Florida. I’ve been helping busy and non-skilled homeowners with their home improvements for decades. I started this business to help make owning a home easy, enjoyable and stress free.

I was the kid who secretly took things apart to see what made them tick. Unlike Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor, from my favorite tv show "Home Improvement", everything I had done this to either worked the same as before or better. Even at a young age I became the go-to guy for fixing and/or improving stuff around the house.

So it was no surprise that I became a mechanical engineer, where I developed a discipline of being very detailed, meticulous, precise and thorough. Engineering was a very rewarding career. However, I eventually learned that I prefer to work with my hands as opposed to sitting in front of a computer day after day.

I am also a licensed real estate agent. I’ve seen firsthand the overwhelming need for quality home repairs and improvements. I know the frustrations that homeowners face with regards to the lack of quality and dependability provided by many contractors and handymen. My work ethics and quality put my customer's minds at ease. As a licensed real estate agent I can also help you find a property, provide a free (no strings attached) home valuation, and help to rehab it if needed or desired.
